Welcome to Wilden All Saints C of E Primary School's Website!

Last year saw our first Ofsted inspection as a Primary School.  We were assessed as a good school with outstanding features.

Ofsted said ' The pupils relish being in school and attendance levels are above average.  There is infectious enthusiasm and much enjoyment of work and play'.

As a Church school we were also inspected through the Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools.  We were assessed by them as outstanding in all areas.
We were very pleased with our achievements and with the same values and expectations that make us a unique school we continue with many new and exciting initiatives.

WELCOME TO WILDEN PRIMARY'S WEBSITE!  We have so much to offer your child -and you! We firmly believe in the spirit of home/school partnerships. The ethos of our school is built upon a sense of community spirit and of working and learning together.

Our school is historic, but we are modern thinkers! We have our minds and hearts set firmly on bright futures for your children - and our school continues to be a highly popular parental choice. The very best education and care will always be provided by our excellent, dedicated, experienced and skilled staff.  We hope your web-journey is a pleasant and informative experience.

All Key Stages and Foundation years have interactive whiteboard technology in their classrooms to further enhance the concept of on-line teaching and learning. Wireless Broadband internet access enables the use of laptop computers in classrooms, together with classroom PC's and a library suite.

The school subscribes to a wealth of on-line teaching and learning materials. We pay - you play! Families are offered free access to these materials from any internet-capable PC, via personal user names and passwords. Links to these sites are accessed by clicking the 'links' button to the left.

Links are provided for further, online guidelines for safe usage, plus games to play to test the family's online safety knowledge.

Please click on the 'document' link to the left to access the current school brochure, other school publications, including our 'Acceptable Use' ICT Policy.

Our School admits children between the ages of three and eleven-years-old.

The pre-schoolers enjoy a gentle integration into school life within our modern and well-equipped Little Owls Nursery. Between entry into Reception at four-years-old and reaching the Year groups at the upper school, Wilden children are inspired to learn, encouraged to be inquisitive and to respect themselves and each other. We work as a strong and innovative team to achieve our aims.

Hot lunches are available at School and are an extremely popular choice for children and and adults alike!

We are proud to be a recognised and certificated HEALTHY SCHOOL!

Wilden Primary is a Church of England School, neighbouring the Victorian Wilden All Saints Church - famous for its complete set of William Morris/Burne-Jones designed stained-glass windows. Open days are now regularly held. Please use our 'link' button to the left to view Wilden Church's own website.

We nestle snugly within a semi-rural backdrop and our school buildings fuse the old with the modern in a sympathetic manner. We all enjoy our beautiful surroundings and open spaces and have put in place many exciting and inspiring outside play and learning areas.

The most recent addition to our school is an outdoor classroom that was designed by the children in Year 5.  It is seasonally spectacular and a truly inspirational space.

Wilden Lane borders the edge of Stourport and is surrounded by country walks and safe walking routes to school. For more on our location, please click on the 'Our location' link below.
Our out-of-school activities include Art, Construction, Board Games, Dance, Choir and Photography - with more to come! All of the clubs' action will be captured within our Gallery link!

We have a lively PTA who truly put the 'fun' into fund-raising and a Governing body who represent an excellent cross-section of parents and the community at large. Events are posted on the 'Diary' page of this site and each group have their own, dedicated page.

These can be accessed by clicking the relevant link buttons to the left.

First Class After-School Care is available on site, providing opportunities for relaxation, recreation, socialising and homework 'space', when necessary. This service is available during School holidays, too.  Extended services will be available from September, 2008, to include afternoon Nursery sessions and a 'wrap-around' service, which will cover the hours between 12-6pm. Contact details are available as part of our 'WASPS' link to the left of this page.

We enjoy a creative curriculum at Wilden, with an emphasis on well-being.  Frequent visitors to school really add a fun dimension to sport and encourages our girls and boys to further their abilities and achieve their very best.

Now that we are a Primary School, we have launched this new site, which replaces the 'First School' version.  You will still be able to view useful and informative Curriculum Content tables, current News/Diary events, etc.  As a new addition, each Year Group now has it's own page to keep you in touch with what's going on in their class - and the School Council also has it's own page. Watch out for new additions soon!
